AVALON MOVING SYSTEMS / VALUATION

At Avalon Moving Systems, we diligently strive to protect goods from damage by using protective methods and materials to safely transport and store your belongings. We are certified by the American Moving and Storage Association, fully licensed, insured and bonded with the Department of Transportation.

There are three standard valuation Options from which to choose. These Options should be discussed with your Moving Consultant prior to the move so that the best available option may be selected for your specific moving needs.

Limited Liability

Avalon Moving Systems, as a licensed and bonded carrier, provides limited liability coverage at no extra charge. Under this option the maximum liability is limited to $.60 per pound per article*,
in the event of loss or damage.

*Local moves coverage is $.30 per pound per article.

Full (Replacement) Value Protection

Under this option, often referred to as "full value protection" or "full replacement value", articles that are lost, damaged
or destroyed will be either repaired, replaced with like items, or a cash settlement will be made for the cost of the repair.

Insurance Policy

This option involves a policy endorsement, which offers the clients their own coverage through a Insurance Company. Contact your Certified Moving Consultant for more information.

Additionally, Avalon Moving Systems carries the following insurance as mandated by the Arizona and Interstate
Commerce Commissions.
